1. Run in Oxford was amazing! I went along the Thames river and saw all the rowers out on the water. Went by the boathouses and saw a cricket match as well. I managed to get lost on the way back (no surprise right?) but finally made it back into town. Missed seeing Christchurch but enjoyed walking around campus to see the sights with a MASSIVE chocolate chip cookie instead. May look into doing a masters there when I get back...
2. Saw Buckingham palace...impressive but no fun...hundreds of people just sat there staring at it. Literally! What were they all waiting for??
3. Next day Mark and I did a massive tour of London. Hyde park, spent a good hour and a half in Westminster Abbey with the likes of Henry VIII and Isaac Newton, and saw the Horse Guard area. Then on to Trafalgar square for a quick lunch before taking in the Picasso exhibit at the National Gallery, and heading to the museum of London for a quick history lesson. Ambled over to the tower of London to see the crown jewels, took in some luxurious window shopping at Harrods (just for you Steven), and then got into a tube accident on the way home...Mark almost lost an arm in a brave attempt not to leave me behind lol. Finally some thai dinner, a pint at an English pub, and finished of with some 'Love Actually'.
4. Today realized that with no working adapter (Why to the English always need to be different from the rest of Europe!) I will soon have no working camera. Therefore I hunted around London before I left for Bath but to no avail. Still trying to figure that one out:( I was content to have my hair in a ponytail and use public phones for the rest of Great Britain...but a camera? That's serious business!
5. Almost missed my bus... because it turned out that I was actually catching a train haha. Don't worry about me, seriously. I have my 'pity me, I'm a poor little tourist' look down pat:)
6. Finally, not to scare my mom because I think she's a bit concerned about my allergies, I just had a massive allergic reaction on the train. I woke up sneezing and had a rash around my eyes...even had a bit of difficulty breathing. My sunglasses are still on as I sit in this internet cafe because I look like a monster but hopefully the swelling goes down soon. Culprit? I honestly have no idea:( Don't worry mom I'll hit up the pharmacy tomorrow for some yummy allergy drugs;)
7. I have to go check in now so until next time:D

Sounds amazing Annie!!!
I'm so glad you're getting to experience so much!!
Let me know if you'd like some connections in Glasgow, I'm sure I could find a few Scottish lads who wouldn't mind showing a pretty girl around :)
I wish I had thought to give you my Euro adapters before you left... I have a full set for every European country possible...!
Can't wait for the next update!
