I am a graduate of the Sauder School of Business at UBC. Upon entering this program, I had no clue what I wanted to do beyond completing it with flying colours. Four and a half years, one marketing specialization, one student exchange to Mexico, and three co-op terms later, I have come no closer to figuring it all out. Although I am a realist in knowing that business and money make the world go round, I am an equal idealist in loathing everything about that notion. So it is at this crossroad of life known as post-secondary graduation where I stand uncertainly poised to fight the banal and predictable life-path of a commerce graduate.

A hop to Tsawwassen, skip to San Fran, and we're here!

Okay first of all! Let's set the scene: Jordan and I have just arrived in Sydney where our testiness and tiredness has lead us to a free internet shop on the King's Cross strip. That's right, we are currently in Australia's most famous city - yet surrounded by a group of Mexicans.

That's okay though, we just wanted to make today a semi-blah day since we're half dead but needing enough stimulation to last until tonight (Jordan's theory on fighting the jet lag). So after checking in and showering at a cozy hostel (Harbour City Backpackers in Woolloomoolloo) we hit up a coffee shop and the internet to let y'all know we made it in one piece.

Wierd things of the day...

Unlike almost every other human being on this planet we did not experience a February 10th, 2008, and we are now talking to you from the future!
Riding in the airport shuttle/crappy van I kept getting the eery feeling that noone was in fact driving the car...anyone who's ridden in a country where you drive on the left hand side will understand what I mean.

Itinerary for next couple of days in Sydney:
Tomorrow - Bondi Beach where apparently all the hot boys frolick!
Wednesday - Over to Manly beach for two days where there's surfing and a walking tour
Friday - Maybe Newtown and other things
Saturday - Melbourne bound

Pictures soon....
